Free pro photos, how to guide
For all budget brides (and who isn't!) who want to some free pro photos for engagement, boudoir, bridal, trash the dress, etc. check out http://www.modelmayhem.com/. You will need 4 photos of yourself to get started, once your account is "approved" (very my space themed) you can browse posts for people looking for models. Most are TFCD (trade for CD) or TFP (trade for prints). A lot of smut on the site but there are great photographers offering free photos!
Through model mayhem I met with Jackie from JL Photography at the beautiful UCR Botanic gardens.http://jl-photog.blogspot.com/ and http://www.gardens.ucr.edu/. We had a wonderful time exploring the hidden secret of UCR. She also does family photos and wonderful creative work. She is taking classes at CSU Fullerton and pursing a BA in photography! Her photo that she took of my is above.
